About Us

Welcome to Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital, a health care institution located in Alexandria, Ontario.

Serving residents of a small unique community, HGMH staff is attentive to giving exemplary professional care.  Since the doors to HGMH opened in 1965 individuals in the Glengarry Community have received timely and courteous service. A primary focus of HGMH has been to address the growing health care needs to provide the best possible care.

Need a Doctor?

HGMH has two new physicians joining our team in August and September 2017. Click here for more info.

Health Care Connect helps Ontarians who are without a family health care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) to find one. People without a family health care provider are referred to a family doctor or a nurse practitioner who is accepting new patients in their community.

Telehealth Ontario is a free, confidential telephone service you can call to get health advice or general health information from a Registered Nurse. The service provides round-the-clock access, to a qualified health professional. It can help you decide whether to care for yourself, make an appointment with your doctor, go to a clinic, contact a community service or go to a hospital emergency room.
