Strategic Planning

Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) is embarking on the development of a revitalized strategic plan for the organization. The previous plan was developed for the period 2018 to 2022 and included the strategic focus for: Quality & Safety, People & Partnerships, Finance & Infrastructure. Over the next six weeks HGMH is seeking valuable input from important stakeholders including, staff, physicians, patients, family caregivers, partner organizations, and our community at large.

“I think we can all agree that health care does not look the same today as it did in 2018 when this plan began. With a global health crisis, emergence of the diversity, equity & inclusion imperative, implementation of Ontario Health Team models, and a national health human resources shortage, to name a few, we need a vision to match our changed landscape.” Said Robert Alldred-Hughes, President & CEO of HGMH. “It is time for HGMH to re-imagine our future and chart our path forward for sustainable quality health care in our community. Health care that supports community needs now and into the future.” Alldred-Hughes added.
