Alexandria, ON – Following new guidance from Public Health Ontario, masking requirements have recently changed at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH).
Masks no longer need to be worn in public spaces and common areas, such as hallways, elevators, lobbies, waiting areas, and cafeteria. On December 15 th , Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) and Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) announced the opening of a respiratory illness clinical assessment centre to test, assess and provide treatment to patients with symptoms of respiratory illnesses like a cold, flu, COVID-19, and other viral respiratory illnesses.
