HGMH to hold Annual General Meeting featuring Patient Story and Board Award of Excellence Presentation

Alexandria, Ontario – Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital invites staff, stakeholders, and community members to attend its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), an annual event that reflects on the achievements of the past year and looks ahead to the future of healthcare in our region.
The meeting will take place on June 26th, 2025, at 6:00pm at the Michel Depratto Hall located at 170 MacDonald Blvd in Alexandria and will include the regular business of the Board of Directors, including the presentation of the hospital’s financial statements and reports on organizational performance and strategic priorities.
In addition to the standard agenda, the AGM will feature two very special segments: a Patient Story told first-hand from a patient, underscoring the impact of having access to care close to home as well as the presentation of the Board Award of Excellence, a prestigious award which recognizes outstanding contributions by individuals who embody the hospital’s values and have made significant strides in enhancing quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
“AGMs are more than just governance milestones, they are a celebration of the people who make our hospital special, from patients to providers,” said Robert Alldred-Hughes, President & CEO. “We look forward to gathering as a community to share meaningful stories and recognize excellence that truly make a difference in the lives of our patients.”
